Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal is now in Karachi to play PSL
Bangladesh's best opener Tamim Iqbal left Dhaka on Tuesday to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and reached Karachi on Wednesday morning.After two days of quarantine, he will start practicing.
In a video message on Wednesday, Tamim said, "I arrived in Karachi this morning.I have to stay in quarantine for the next two days.Hopefully the results of the Covid test will be as expected.I am looking forward to represent Lahore Calenders in the 14th match.See you in the field soon.
Bangladesh T20 captain Mahmudullah Riyad did not go to play PSL due to corona attack.Earlier, two eliminator matches, a qualifier and a final of the tournament were postponed due to corona infection.
All matches will be held on November 14, 15 and 16 in Karachi.Tamim has previously played in the PSL for Peshawar Zalmi in 2016, 2017 and 2017.
