General Hatami said the behavior of the major US-led powers so far shows that they have far-reaching plans to keep the Middle East insecure in the long run. Therefore, all the countries of the Middle East, including Iran and Iraq, must stand up against such an insidious plan.

Iraqi Defense Minister Anad Sadoun expressed his satisfaction over the visit to neighboring Iran. He said Baghdad would always remember Iran's important cooperation in expelling the militant group IS from Iraq.
